Cowboy Country Smoked Pork Ribs

6 pounds pork ribs
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke

Combine all ingredients except ribs. Sprinkle mixture over ribs.

Marinade
2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup minced onions
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Combine all ingredients and spoon over ribs. Let marinate in refrigerator overnight.

Place ribs in smoker or on grill over low heat for 4 to 6 hours.
